Mumbai: People working in western Mumbai and suburban areas may have to struggle for lunch on Wednesday as the Mumbai Dabbawala Association has announced that they will not be able to deliver lunch boxes there.
The association said that due to delays in the Mumbai local trains following derailment on the Western Line yesterday, they are finding it difficult to transport tiffins to the western part of the city.
While the association did not cancel delivery schedules for other parts of the city, it is suspected that people there too may witness delays in receiving their tiffins.
Lakhs of commuters were affected on Tuesday following the train derailment on the Western Line yesterday.
Seven coaches of a fast local train from Virar to Churchgate derailed between Andheri and Vile Parle at around 11 am yesterday. While there were no casualties in the accident, some people suffered minor injuries.
