Mumbai: The Bombay High Court has reserved its order on the appeals filed by 11 convicts serving life imprisonment in the 2002 Bilkis Bano gangrape case.
The court also reserved its order on the CBI's appeal for death penalty for three convicts.
A high court bench comprising justices Vijaya Tahilramani and Mridula Bhatkar reserved the order after a hearing on both the appeals.
The convicts had challenged the trial court order in the high court.
The convicts were jailed on charges of raping Bilkis and killing her family members following the Godhra riots.
