New Delhi: E-commerce website Myntra has finally made a comeback with its desktop website which was on a halt since May last year.
The Flipkart-owned company had shifted to an app-only model in May 2015 after shutting down its mobile and desktop websites. However, it later brought back its mobile website for some sections with the option to purchase still limited to application.
With more than 70 per cent of Internet users in India accessing the Web through their mobile phones, the debate over app-only versus website-based model in the e-commerce sector is not surprising.
While some e-tailers shifted their focus to mobile apps, most have decided to switch back to the website model to get more and more users on board.
