Kohima: The Nagaland HSLC (Class 10) Result 2016 will be declared at 12 noon by Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) on Tuesday.
The NBSE 10th Class Results will be available on websites: nbsenagaland.com, nagaland.gov.in
The results can also be accessed by sending SMS to the numbers mentioned with the following key words:
1. HSLC (Class 10) Examination 2016
SMS – NB10<space>ROLL NUMBER to 54242
2. HSLC (Class 10) Examination 2016
SMS – RESULT<space>NBSE10<space> ROLL NUMBER to 58888
The provisional Result Gazettes will be issued to all the registered institutions of the Board.
The results will also be available on the notice board of the Office.
The heads of registered institutions are informed to collect the marksheets and other documents from 4th to 7th May 2016. If the head of institution cannot come, duly authorised persons should be deputed to collect the same.
The NBSE was set up through an Act by the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and received the assent of the Governor on the 15th of November 1973.
It started functioning from the 1st October 1974, and in March 1975, the board held its first High School Leaving Certificate Examination at 6 (six) centres, for 2008 (two thousand and eight) candidates.
The NBSE ( Amendment ) Act 1990 empowers the board to conduct the higher secondary school leaving certificate examination under the three streams- science, arts and commerce.
The board is composed of ex-officio members, members nominated by the government and co-opted members.
There is a full time chairman who is the chief executive.
The jurisdiction of the soard is state of Nagaland.
