Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will begin his Punjab tour by addressing a rally in state's deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal's constituency -  Jalalabad – on Sunday.

In all, Kejriwal will address about 21 from November 20 to November 30 in Punjab to spruce up the party's campaign in the poll-bound state.


"Kejriwal will be in Punjab from November 20 to November 30 to address 21 rallies in different parts of the state," a party spokesman had said earlier. 


He will conclude his campaign with a rally in Punjab's Gurdaspur on November 30.


The places which will be covered by Kejriwal include Bathinda, Moga, Muktsar, Sangrur, Rupnagar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Pathankot, Amritsar and Tarn Taran.


AAP is eyeing to wrest power in the Punjab after the 2017 Assembly elections in the state.


Kejriwal is expected to base his campaign on the construction of the Sutlej-Yamuna-Link (SYL) canal issue, the drug menace, law and order and procurement of crops in the state.
