Shocking video: Debt-ridden Punjab farmer commits suicide in front of cops

Barnala: In another shocking incident, a 32-year-old farmer and his 60-year-old mother committed suicide in front of cops and bank officials in Barnala village of Punjab on Tuesday.

As per reports they were being hounded by the bank officials to repay their loan.

The farmer had asked for some time to return the loan but his demand was not being met. After this, the farmer committed suicide in front of the police by gulping down insect killer spray.
