Close shave for marriage party

Udaipur: A marriage party travelling in a bus had a close shave Wednesday when the driver lost control over the vehicle which miraculously stopped short of falling into a gorge.

The bus was on its way to Chawand with the marriage party when the driver lost control over it in a bid to save some cattle. The bus broke through a small boundary wall along the road and its front portion leaned towards the gorge, police said.

Some passengers managed to come out of the bus after breaking window panes and pulled out others too, they said, adding no one was injured in the incident.
