The president’s post in the University of Kota was also won by the ABVP-backed Vijay Pratap.

National Students' Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Indian National Congress party, managed to save its face in Ajmer, where it bagged the president, vice-president and general secretary posts at Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University.
