Domino's unveils world's first autonomous pizza delivery vehicle

New Delhi: International franchise pizza delivery corporation and American restaurant chain Domino's pizza has unveiled world's first autonomous pizza delivery vehicle named 'Dru'.

How it operates is interesting as it has a sensory system and uses company's Global Positioning System tracking data that enables it to navigate its path and travel without any assistance to a customer's address.

This is indeed a big step forward in the effort Domino's is putting in the future commercialization of this technology. However, it will take some time to take to the streets.
