New Delhi: Due to their complex designs, the electronic wearable devices tend to be fragile. Normally, if the device material breaks by accident, it either remains that way or do not function well after repairing or healing.

But recently, a team of researchers led by Professor Qing Wang invented a 'self-healing' flexible insulator that could restore a 'suite of functions'.

This brand new nano-composite material not only boosts the durability of your e-wearables, but also resists electronic surges and thermal conductivity.

Self-healing materials are those that can withstand any physical damage and naturally repair themselves with little or no external influence.
