Islamabad: Pakistan's well-known journalist Hamid Mir of Geo TV was in the dock on Tuesday when derogatory and controversial messages were posted from his Twitter account.
While one of the controversial tweet was on Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, the other 'apologised' for repeatedly criticising Pakistan's Army and intelligence agency ISI.
I want to apologize to everyone and specially our ISI and Army that i blamed them for every dirty shit. Sorry pic.twitter.com/wilcZ6Wzee

Mir's Twitter handle also tweeted pictures of his purported email account as well as banking details.
Mir, however, claimed that his Twitter account had been hacked.
"I have been receiving a lot of Tpassword reset requests recently. Someone trying to hack me," he wrote.
"I have changed my Twitter email and recovered the password. Thank God," he added.
