Washington: Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, who found fame after posting videos of himself singing and tweeting about his experiences on the ISS, has said that the next logical step in space exploration would be a permanent base on the Moon.
Hadfield spoke to a news channel following China`s successful mission to land a probe on the lunar surface. Commander Hadfield claimed that astronauts may be living on the Moon in 20 years or more if space nations collaborate together. He added that personally he hopes that the Moon is where they go but Twenty years hence he suspects that they will have people not just visiting but living permanently on another planet.
