Well, this is not the first time that astronauts are watching movies up above, earlier in April, they also watched 'Gravity' starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.
The Martian is a 2015 American science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott starring Matt Damon as an astronaut, who is presumed dead and left behind on Mars where he fights to survive the situation.
The film is based on Andy Weir's 2011 novel The Martian, which was adapted into a screenplay by Drew Goddard.
