Tim Peake has become the first British or UK-born person to fly into space without a private contract.

New Delhi: British astronaut Tim Peake shared a splendid moonlit photo of Delhi and the Himalayas with his followers.

The astronaut, who is currently aboard the International Space Station (ISS), became the first British or UK-born person to fly into space without a private contract.

On january 15, 2016, Peak participated in the first spacewalk outside the ISS by a British astronaut.
