New Delhi: American astronaut Scott Kelly returned to Earth on Tuesday after completing a historic 340-day mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
US space agency NASA aired the entire process, the crew members' last moments at the ISS, the undocking of the Soyuz spacecraft and finally their landing in Kazakhstan.
Everyone has been celebrating the astronauts' homecoming and it seems like US President Barack Obama was excited as anyone on Kelly's safe return.
According to a report in IANS, the White House said that President Obama spoke on the phone with Scott Kelly on Wednesday, welcoming him back to Earth from his yearlong mission on the International Space Station (ISS) and also tweeted him about the same!
