New Delhi: NASA astronaut, Jeff Williams made his first entry along with Russian cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka inside an inflatable add-on room at International Space Station (ISS), according to NASA official blog post.

The two space station crew members entered the 7-foot long habitat at 4:47 a.m. ET on Monday.

U.S. Astronaut shared his experience with NASA and described that the flexible habitat- known as the Bigelow Expandable Activity Module (BEAM), which was fully installed last month- looked "pristine" and was cold inside after entering for the first in a two-year series of tests.

BEAM is expected to stay attached to ISS for two years in order to test its longevity in deep space.
