New Delhi: India on Monday successfully test launched its first indigenously built winged Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV), a mini-space shuttle from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
Watch the video below as the 6.5 m long RLV-TD weighing about 1.7 tons is being hoisted into the atmosphere atop a special rocket booster early today at 7 a.m.

After the test flight was declared successful, Prime Minister Narendra Modi nad President Pranab Mukherjee congratulated scientists at ISRO.
