Madurai: BJP would hold talks with various parties on the issue of forming alliance for the coming Assembly polls in Tamil Nadu and a decision in this regard would be taken in 10 days, senior party leader L Ganesan said in Madurai today.
"I can assert that our allies during the previous Lok Sabha polls would continue to be our allies. Though PMK has announced that it will contest alone, it is holding talks with the BJP as well", he told reporters.
Reacting to party leader Subramanian Swamy's view that BJP, DMK and DMDK could come together to fight the Assembly elections, Mr Ganesan said "it is his view".
"However, we will take a decision on forming alliance within 10 days," he said.
