Four people dead, 2 wounded at an explosion in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: At least four persons died and two received serious injuries in an explosion at a cracker factory in Salem district in Tamil Nadu. 

The incident took place on Tuesday evening. 

The reason for the fire and subsequent explosion was yet to be ascertained, they said. 

The deceased were identified as Priya, Raja, Ajith and Vellachi, they said.

The injured have been admitted to government hospital.
