Villupuram: An All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) activist sustained burns while burning an effigy of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam (DMDK) chief Vijayakant during a protest here on Tuesday.
Vijayakant's effigy was burnt as a mark of protest against his alleged remarks against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa.
