Allahabad High Court orders CBI probe in Bulandshahr gang-rape case

Lucknow: The Allahabad High Court on Friday ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the gang-rape of a woman and her minor daughter last month in Bulandshahr.

The HC has further ordered the Uttar Pradesh Police to submit all medical reports, statements and details of the ongoing investigation in the case.

The Allahabad High Court had taken a suo motu cognisance of the incident.

A woman and her minor daughter were raped on NH-91 in Bulandshahr late night on July 29 by some criminals after robbing the family.

The mother-daughter duo have identified the three persons arrested from Meerut.
