Over a dozen vehicles and cyclists started the campaign flagged off by party general secretary Arvind Singh Gope and spokesman Rajendra Chowdhury at a programme here at the SP office.

"The campaign is an attempt to reach to the people and inform them about the welfare schemes launched by the Uttar Pradesh government. The party workers will also connect to the people and know their problems," Gope said.

"We will also seek suggestions from the people for better governance and schemes that they want for themselves," he added.

Through screening of films on specially-designed vehicles, feedback of people will be taken and under the first phase of the campaign, over 600 villages will be covered, he added.

The works done by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav will be the focal point of this campaign and they would be highlighted.
