Over 120 children fall ill in Uttar Pradesh after consuming mid-day meal

Ballia: Around 125 children fell ill after consuming midday meal in a government school in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia District on Saturday.

The children had to be rushed to a hospital when they started vomiting after consuming meal comprising of puri, chole and kheer.

According to reports, all the children are out of danger. A four-member team has been constituted to probe the incident.

Four teachers have been suspended in connection with the incident so far while services of five others, including two cooks, have been terminated.
