The disrobed body of a woman has been found at Wazirganj area here with police suspecting that the victim was sexually assaulted before being killed.
Badaun: The disrobed body of a woman has been found at Wazirganj area here with police suspecting that the victim was sexually assaulted before being killed.
The unidentified body was recovered yesterday and prima facie it appeared that the woman was sexually assaulted before being killed, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Munnalal said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, he said.
An FIR has been filed in this matter and investigation is underway, police added.
