Joint Commissioner accuses Gurgaon Police Commissioner of harassment

Joint Commissioner (Traffic) Bharti Arora, a 1998-batch IPS officer, has accused Gurgaon Police Commissioner Navdeep Singh Virk of harassment and interference in a rape case inquiry. In a letter sent to Haryana DGP Yashpal Singhal, Arora has alleged that Virk was mentally torturing her over the inquiry and supervision of files in the rape case. She has sought Singhal’s immediate intervention expressing apprehensions that her career interests might by harmed by Virk in due course.
