Kolkata: One person was arrested for allegedly raping a teenager in the Maidan area of Kolkata last night, the police said. Mohammed Sajir Alam (19), a resident of Topsia and a taxi driver by profession, was arrested for allegedly raping the girl who also hails from the same area.
The police said that Alam was arrested on the basis of the complaint made by the victim. PTI
