40-year-old widow set to marry her 23-year-old son, is pregnant with his child

A 40-year-old widow from Zimbabwe Betty Mbereko is all set to marry her 23-year-old son as they feel they are in love with each other, according to a report in Information Nigeria. 

Noteworthy, the woman is already six months pregnant and is expecting her son's child.

Betty has been a widow for the past 12 years.

Betty says that she has decided to marry her son because she does not want to marry her late husband’s younger brothers.

The woman took the village court by surprise when she said the affair with her son had started three years back.

"After spending a lot of money sending my son to school after husband's death, I felt I have right to his money and no other woman is entitled to it," Betty said.
