New research has revealed that almost 50 percent of parents having young children make it a routine to go through their kids' phone.

A survey by BullGuard revealed that of the 2,000 parents having children between the ages of 8-15, nearly 25 percent of them were left 'shocked' when they read their kids' emails, Facebook posts and SMSs.

40 percent of the parents found their children discussing sex or sexual content on their mobiles.

A quarter discovered evidence of their child being bullied and nearly half found them using offensive language, Daily Mail reported.
