The OIC has called upon India to implement the United Nations Security Council’s (UNSC) resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani English daily Dawn reported citing the country's foreign office.

The OIC's position was stated in a joint communique at the end of the summit in Istanbul, the report said.

OIC has reportedly expressed concern at the “indiscriminate use of force and gross violation of human rights in Kashmir by the security forces”, it added.

The 13th summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was held in Istanbul on April 14. The leaders of Muslim nations had gathered to address issues such as terrorism, migration crisis, and the issue of Palestine.
