Washington: Sixteen North Korean companies and seven people for their ties with the Kim Jong-un regime or its weapon programme, a media report said on Friday.
The development comes after North Korea conducted its fifth and largest nuclear test in September.
According to Reuters, the blacklisted companies include Air Koryo, North Korea's national carrier as well as six financial services companies.
