Odisha: Denied ambulance by hospital, father carries dead body of infant in hands in Malkangiri

Bhubaneswar: Yet another case of administrative apathy, this time in Odisha, came to fore when a man was compelled to carry the dead body of his infant in his hand. 

According to an ANI report, the man was denied the ambulance service by the hospital administration. 

When contacted, the Malkangiri Chief District Medical Officer said, "Dead body carrier is available in hospital then why did the man carried the body. I will inquire and find out the reason."
