New Delhi: Actor Aamir Khan, who turned 53 today, was snapped sharing hugs and kisses with wife Kiran Rao, in a rare sight. Aamir, who was shooting in Rajasthan for his upcoming project, 'Thugs of Hindostan', today took a flight to Mumbai to celebrate his birthday with family and close friends.

Kiran had come to the airport to receive Aamir. The duo was clicked sharing a warm hug and kisses by the shutterbugs. This is probably the first time the couple has been clicked like this in public. And it was an adorable moment!

Later, as his annual ritual, Aamir addressed a press conference where he cut the mandatory birthday cake with wife Kiran and shared some moments with media persons. He also spoke about working with legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan for the very first time. It is to be noted that both Aamir and Amitabh will be sharing screen space for the first time in 'Thugs of Hindostan'. 


Meanwhile, Aamir, who enjoys a huge social media following on Twitter, is all set to expand his digital imprints as he made his debut on Instagram. He posted his mother Zeenat Hussain’s pic to begin a memorable journey on the photo-sharing site.
