New Delhi: In 2012, things went terribly wrong for Lalita Benbansi when her cousin reportedly threw acid on her face. It is being said that the disgraceful act took place when she was visiting her hometown Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh.

According to a The Logical Indian report, her cousin Babu spilled acid on her just 15 days before her marriage following a minor argument which happened a few days back. Owing to complete face burn, Lalita underwent 17 surgeries.

But, destiny had a brighter future planned for Lalita. You will be amazed to know that just a wrong number changed her life in a very beautiful manner. No, we are not kidding.

Lalita, who recently tied the knot with 27-year-old CCTV operator Rahul Kumar, is now overwhelmed with this phase of her life. Her wedding story is no less than a Bollywood tale. It happened with a wrong number when the latter dialed the former's number accidentally.

The flower of love blossomed between the two and after two months, the couple decided to get married.

Did not know a wrong number would change my life," said an elated Rahul Kumar while appreciating the inner beauty of his wife. "I am feeling very happy. I had never thought that I would ever get married. He, even after knowing about the truth, still remained on his decision to marry me," said Lalita.

Rahul, while praising Lalita's inner beauty, said her heart is pure and that is what matters the most.

"It had always been my dream to do something different. I knew I would do something good. My mother supported me and my entire family. Didn't know a wrong number would change my life entirely," he said.
