Salman Khan guilty: Bollywood could lose Rs 500 cr?

New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan has been convicted in 1998 blackbuck poaching case by the Jodhpur sessions court on April 5, 2018. The actor has been sentenced to 5 years in jail. Other accused stars in the case—Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam and Sonali Bendre have been acquitted of all charges.

With this major setback to the actor, several big projects and films will be affected. He has some plum deals in his kitty this year and the fate of which now hangs in trouble.

Here's taking a look at some of the big projects in which he stars.

Race 3: The actor stars in Remo D'Souza venture which features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. The film is reportedly made on a whopping budget of almost Rs 150 crore.

Kick 2: Sajid Nadiadwala announced his upcoming venture this year which will also be made on a massive scale. 

Dabangg 3: Salman's much talked about venture is expected to be made over Rs 100 crore.

Bharat: Ali Abbas Zafar's upcoming venture will also be a huge money spinner and will be made on a massive budget.

Loveratri: Sister Arpita Khan Sharma's husband Aayush Sharma's debut film 'Loveratri' is being made on a budget of Rs 70 cr reportedly.

Besides, there's TV reality show 'Bigg Boss' which the actor hosts. He has also got 'Dus Ka Dum' show lined-up this year.

Overall, we can say, Salman's sentence will surely affect Bollywood in a big way.
