New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is quite active on social media, recently shared an interesting trivia about his popular film 'Don' on Wednesday.

Taking to Twitter, Bachchan wrote, "An afterthought, that became THE thought .. song 'khaike paan banaras wala' was done after film DON was completed .."



Well, no one knew that foot-tapping song was shot after the film was completed. The song became very popular in those days and it is still treated as one of the most popular party anthems of that era. 


'Don' directed by Chandra Bhanot was released in 1978.The film starred Amitabh Bachchan and diva Zeenat Aman in lead roles. The film was remade in 2006, it featured Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles.


On the work front, Big B has a lot of films in the pipeline. After impressing the audiences in 'Pink',  Amitabh and Taapsee will be seen in 'Badla'.The film will be helmed by renowned filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh and the shooting of which has already begun in Scotland reportedly. 


'Badla' will be produced by none other than King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan. It's an out-and-out thriller and is remake of Spanish film The Invisible Guest (Contratiempo). Other than that Badla, the superstar will be seen in Thugs of Hindustan and Brahmastra.
