'Bhabhi ji' Shilpa Shinde trolled for being 'too fat' in 'Maro Line' item song

New Delhi: Popular television actress Shilpa Shinde, who is best known for playing Angoori bhabhi in hit sitcom 'Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai' was recently fat-shamed by trollers on the internet.

After quitting the show midway, Shilpa featured in an item song for 'Patel Punjabi Shaadi' starring Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal. The song released a few days back and had Shilpa dancing to the tunes of Neha Kakkar crooned the song.

However, as soon as the song went viral, it drew extreme reactions from people on YouTube. While some liked it, others trolled her for being 'too fat'. The comments were downright mean and personal where people slammed for wearing a particular kind of outfit and having gained so much weight.

'Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi' is helmed by Sanjay Chhel. It brings the veterans like Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal together for the first time in 20 years. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on September 15, 2017.
