New Delhi: Hailed as one of the most beautiful women in the world, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has successfully completed over two decades in the Hindi film industry. The dazzling beauty is currently busy working on 'Fanne Khan', a film which also stars veteran actor Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. 

She has some really interesting projects in her kitty. The actress has reportedly been approached to star in 'Raat Aur Din' and 'Woh Kaun Thi' remakes. However, details about the project have been kept under wraps. Aishwarya was last seen in Karan Johar's romantic drama 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' where she played a poetess named Saba. 

According to MissMalini.com, Ash opened up about her personal life and revealed who her best friend in the industry is. She has been quoted as saying, " “From the day I chose to step into showbiz, I’ve survived by holding on to who I am; my own best friend and brutal critic."

Well, with such cut-throat competition running in the profession, seldom do we see actors staying thick friends with each other. 

The actress has won several awards for her acting prowess.  She was honoured with the Padma Shri for her contributions to the arts in 2009. In 2012, Aishwarya was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, a national order of France.
