The famous 'Bahu' of the daily soap is a household name and never really shies away from speaking her mind on any burning issue.

On the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Divyanka has penned a powerfully worded poem, invoking Maa Durga. She has stressed about female power and womanhood while she compares it with Goddess Durga.

तू दुर्गा है, .
तो क्यूँ रोती है, क्यूँ शिव तांडव कि राह तकती है?
वो तुझ में है, .
तो क्यूँ सहती है, चुप क्यूँ रहती है?
तू धैर्यवान है, .
पर क्यूँ आत्मसम्मान को परे रखती है?

तेरी गौरी सी मुस्कान का मोल पाव भर लगता है अब.
और मुस्कुरा, तेरी आत्मीयता से चकरा जाएँगे वो.
तेरी निश्छलता का भाव शून्य सा लगता है अब.
और दे, बोझ तले दब जाएँगे वो.
तुझे उथला पानी समझ उछालना चाहते हैं वो.
तू गहराई कम ना कर... डूब जाएँगे वो.

हे दशभुजाधारी माँ नहीं हो सकती तू अबला!
शक्ति तेरे भीतर है, बस स्वयं को निरंतर याद दिला.

बस कर बिछना.
नहीं तू चरणो की धूल! 
निरंतर प्रेम नहीं समझते
तो डर मत उठा त्रिशूल!
प्रेम, करुणा, दया की देवी है तू.
पर खो ना जा इस दायित्व में,
जीवनदात्रि है तो काली भी है तू!
