Filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi admitted to Nanavati Hospital

Mumbai: Veteran filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi has been admitted to the Nanavati hospital here, following some heart related problem.

"He has been admitted to the hospital for a heart- related problem. We can't share any further information at the moment," PTI quoted a hospital official as saying.

The ace director is stable now. According to sources, he underwent angioplasty, ANI reported. 

Santoshi made his directorial debut with blockbuster Ghayal starring Sunny Deol and Meenakshi Sheshadri in 1993.  Besides Ghayal, Santoshi has helmed super-hit films such as Damini, Andaz Apna Apna, Ghatak, Pukar, Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani etc.

Aanand L Rai has teamed up with Santoshi for a new film. Santoshi will direct a film for Aanand’s production outfit Colour Yellow.
