New Delhi: On the occassion of Vijaya Dashmi, the country is immersed in the festive fervour and colour. Now, actress Rhea Chakraborty shared a glimpse of herself wearing traditional saree. Interestingly, Rhea's saree originally belonged to her grandmother and was a century old!
Sharing the pics on Instagram, Rhea Chakraborty flaunted her grandmother’s 100-year-old saree on the occassion of Dussehra. The actress wrote, “Shubho Bijoya Dashami. This is my Dida’s (grandmother's) saree 100 years old. Something so special about wearing my ancestry.”
After the actress shared her photographs, fans flooded the comment section. While a user called her 'Goddess of beauty', another fan wrote, 'Pretty'.
The actress has been featured in several Bollywood movies - Jalebi, Sonali Cable, and Mere Dad Ki Maruti - to name a few. Recently, she has also been seen judging the 19th part of the TV show Roadies: Karm Ya Kaand.
Recently, during the 'Roadies Season 19', Rhea shared with a contestant, "A lot of people will say a lot of things. I have been labelled with many names, and many things have been said about me. But will I accept those labels? Kya main unke wajah se apne life me rukungi? Bilkul bhi nahi.... Let them go. Kaun hai woh?"
Rhea added, "Nothing is wrong with your colour, you are absolutely beautiful and strong. You deserve the best in life and jo bhi aapke sath hua, woh aapki galti nahi hai, unki galti hai."
