The actress ruled hearts with her character Akshara Singhania in the hit-show, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. Hina played the part for eight long years and was one of the most favourite 'Bahus' of Indian television.

The actress then participated in reality show 'Bigg Boss 11' and was the finalist. The show was won by Shilpa Shinde and the duo's bittersweet relationship remained the most-discussed topic of the season. Hina remained one of the most popular contestants of the show giving tough competition to others.

The talented actress got Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for 'Best Entertainer for Reality Show' inside the 'Bigg Boss 11' house. She has several awards and honours to her credit for her stint on television. Recently, she bagged the Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award for her contribution in the entertainment field.
