New Delhi: Bollywood's rockstar 'Queen' Kangana Ranaut is a go-getter and we all know that. Just like Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan, 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' actress too doesn't seem to have any keen interest in award functions.
Recently, while walking the ramp for ace fashion designer Manish Arora at the Blenders Pride fashion show, IANS was quoted as saying, "I don't go to your award functions and I don't believe in awards."
When asked to make her choice between Alia Bhatt and Sonam Kapoor for the most deserving actress to win the best actor award, she said: "I am not an awarding jury. It's not my job to decide who should win. I don't believe in awards, then why should I bother? I don't care who wins."
Kangy however, praised Alia. "Alia is one of those people I reach out to. I have a very beautiful equation with her. It's very sweet that she wants to know my whereabouts."
Kangana wore a neon pink lehenga and green crop top worn with an embellished jacket, expressed her happiness as the first actress to walk for the designer.
"As I have no release this year, walking for Manish is a great achievement for me. Manish is my favourite Indian designer and I am the first actress who has walked for him. This is the highest point of 2016," she added.
Kangana will be next seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Rangoon' which is slated to release February 24, 2017. It stars Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor besides Kangana in the lead role.
