New Delhi: A day after superstar Salman Khan was held guilty in the blackbuck poaching case by a Jodhpur court and was sentenced to a 5-year jail term, ace comedian Kapil Sharma expressed his anger but in an unexpected way.

Kapil, who is quite active on Twitter posted a series of abusive tweets slamming the judgement and backing the actor and his good deeds. Soon after posting it, the actor deleted his tweets. In a fresh tweet, the actor later clarified that his account was hacked.

Kapil made a comeback to small screens recently with 'Family Time With Kapil Sharma' but it has failed to garner a positive response. Rumours are rife that soon the show will go off air. He hogged the limelight last year for his infamous mid-night brawl with fellow actor Sunil Grover. Followed by which Grover left his show along with other actors.


Meanwhile, several celebrities have extended their support to the Khan family after the sentence was pronounced.


Salman was held guilty in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case by a Jodhpur court and sentenced to 5-year jail term with a fine of Rs 10, 000 on April 5, 2018. The actor, who is lodged in Central Jail, Jodhpur will now have to spend another night inside as the Jodhpur Session's Court has reserved bail order till Saturday.


The 20-year-old case dates back to the shooting of the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in 1998. Other actors including Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam Kothari were acquitted of all charges by the court.
