Updates: Sushant's former manager Shruti Modi sent back after one person from NCB tests coronavirus positive

The NCB registered a case on the request of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after the alleged drug chats of Showik, Miranda and several others came to the fore.

New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had earlier today summoned Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's former manager Shruti Modi and talent manager Jaya Saha for questioning, officials said on Tuesday.

IANS reported that the official said that they will be questioned about the drug use and delivery to Sushant and his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested on last Tuesday, and if they were aware of this.

The latest development comes in the wake of the arrest of over 15 people in connection with the case, including Rhea, her brother Showik, Sushant's house manager Samuel Miranda and several others.

The NCB registered a case on the request of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) after the alleged drug chats of Showik, Miranda and several others came to the fore.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging in his Bandra apartment on June 14, 2020.

The Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission has given a clean chit to the city-based Cooper Hospital and police over Rhea Chakraborty's alleged visit to the hospital's mortuary where actor Sushant Singh Rajput's body had been kept, an official said. After going through the reports submitted by the city police as well as the hospital, it found that no "third party" had entered the prohibited area of the mortuary, the commission official said on Wednesday, reports news agency PTI.

Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, has revealed that over two lakh people joined the latest effort garner support in the fight for justice for the late Bollywood star. 
Titled #Flag4SSR, the campaign was started by Shweta a while back, asking fans to join forces in the fight for justice. Now, Shweta has thanked his fans for the response on social media.

"What a huge success #Flag4SSR campaign was, more than 2 lakhs people participated from all over the globe ... I am so grateful to everyone who participated and showed support. Thanks to my Extended Family for keeping #Justice4SSR Fight Alive," she tweeted.
