Los Angeles: Singer Miley Cyrus and her actor fiance Liam Hemsworth made a surprise visit to a children's hospital.

The 24-year-old singer and Hemsworth, 26, met young patients of Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego as part of Cyrus' Happy Hippie charity which aims to fight injustices facing homeless, LGBTQ youth and other vulnerable population, reported AceShowbiz.


The "Wrecking Ball" singer teased the "very special day" on Instagram hours before sharing pictures from visit and officially crowning Hemsworth a "happy hippie."



"Thank you for having us today! Beautiful children everywhere! @liamhemsworth is OFFICIALLY a #happyhippie!!! @happyhippiefdn," Cyrus wrote.



In another post she wrote, "Thank you @radychildrens for your incredible dedication to bettering the lives and health of the beautiful youngins @liamhemsworth and I got to visit today."



The hospital also shared a video montage from the pair's visit, along with a Facebook message thanking the couple for bringing "joy and laughter" to the young patients.
