On the professional front, Ranveer is gearing up for the release of his upcoming venture 'Padmavati' starring Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.
Padmavati is directed the Sanjay Leela Bhansali and is scheduled to hit the screens on December 1, 2017. The film is currently facing the heat from certain Rajput fringe groups, who are demanding a ban on the release of Padmavati owing to distortion of historical facts.
Ranveer will also be seen in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' featuring Alia Bhatt.
