Ranveer Singh-Sara Ali Khan's 'Simmbaa' to clash with Salman Khan's 'Dabangg 3'

New Delhi: Karan Johar's Dharma Productions which is producing Rohit Shetty's entertainer Simmba starring the one and only Ranveer Singh, has announced that Sara Ali Khan has been cast opposite Ranveer in the film.

Putting an end to speculations, the official Twitter handle of Dharma Productions' tweeted on Monday:

"All your speculations end here! Presenting to you the leading lady of #Simmba opposite @RanveerOfficial - #SaraAliKhan! Roaring to cinemas near you on 28th December 2018. 

This reminds us that Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 is also releasing on the same date and this could lead to the biggest box-office clash in 2018

Salman Khan has two big releases this year. The actor who is currently shooting for 'Race 3' has plans to release the film on Eid 2018. 

Post that, the superstar will kickstart the shoot of Dabangg 3 with his brother Arbaaz Khan. A Bollywood Life report suggests that the script has been finalised and the pre-production work is going on in full swing.

 The report further stated that the makers want to finish shooting 'Dabangg 3' by October end and release it by the end of 2018. However, with December 21st already marked for Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zero', the Dabangg team was planning to release the film on December 28th.
