New Delhi: Superstar Salman Khan's 'Veergati' co-star Pooja Dadwal is suffering from acute Tuberculosis and had opened up about her condition a few days back. She had even sought help from Bhaijaan as she is not financially sound.
During his Dabangg Tour in Pune, actor Salman Khan was quizzed about helping his ailing co-star and he confirmed that help has reached her, reports Indianexpress.com.
Salman Khan clarified that Pooja Dadwal was not paired opposite him in the film, “I know… It’s really sad. She is not my co-star… But she was Atul’s co-star,” said Salman. He further added, “I just heard about this and we are trying to help as much as we can. And our team is already into it. I was not knowing about this that she was going through this phase. Yeah, I think she will be okay.”
Recently, Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan extended his help to Pooja Dadwal and even sent a box full of fresh fruits for Pooja along with financial assistance. Earlier, in a conversation with Bombay Times, Pooja had revealed, “I learned 6 months ago that I had something as serious as TB. I tried to contact Salman Khan for help, but nothing has been done so far. If he looks at my video then maybe he will try to offer some help. I have been admitted to this hospital for the last 15 days. I have been doing casino management in Goa for the last several years. I have no money at all, I depend on others for even a cup of tea.”
Pooja had worked in films such as 'Veergati, 'Inteqam' and 'Dabdaba'. Reportedly, Ravi Kishan had worked with her once in a Vinay Lad’s movie.
