New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor will soon turn into larger-than-life Maharawal Singh before the audiences when Padmavati hits the screen on December 1, 2017. The star cast has started prepping up for the film promotions and Sasha shared his latest shenanigans on Instagram.

Shahid used the Snapchat filter and made a selfie video where he can be seen getting make-up ready for the Padmavati promotions. He looks dayum cute with the two-ponytail and geeky look. He captioned the post: “Morning jam. #padmavati promotions. Grogged out.”

Padmavati is directed by maverick filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji respectively. The film faced massive protest from certain fringe groups claiming that the film must be banned as they feel the director has distorted historical facts.

However, the director has time and again maintained that there is nothing in the film which will hurt the sentiments of the Rajput community, stressing that facts have not been misrepresented.
