New Delhi: Veteran actor Kamal Haasan celebrates his 3rd birthday on November 7 and as he turns a year older, his elder daughter Shruti took to Twitter and shared a heartwarming post.

Haasan started off his film career as a child artist in Tamil film Kalathur Kannamma (1960) which even won him the President's Gold Medal. He then starred as the main lead in 1975 drama Apoorva Raagangal, directed by K Balachander.
He did several films which hogged the limelight for various reasons. Hey Ram (2000), Virumaandi (2004), Vishwaroopam (2013) happen to be his own productions and in Dasavathaaram (2008) in which he played ten different roles.
Interestingly, Haasan has won three National Film Awards, the second-most by any Indian actor, and nineteen Filmfare Awards.
